Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students’ Puzzle Hunt Race is a fun and challenging event. Together with your friends, you will drive around a track in Uppsala by car. Solving tricky puzzles reveals the next destination. It is possible to get hints and even the correct answer if one can not figure out the puzzle, this will give a time penalty. In addition to puzzles, you will along the way get to participate in fun games at 2 activity stations, eat a super good lunch at our lunch station and do tricky challenges to get a time deduction! The Puzzle Hunt Race kicks off on the 25th of September.

The River Rafting is an annual event by the Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science students (UTN) which has become an evident part of the Valborg celebrations in Uppsala. 2022, is the 47th time that the River Rafting has been carried out. Since 1975, thousands of students and rafts have descended the Fyrisån river to the encouragement of the tens of thousands of people who gather to cheer along the river. Today, the event has grown and includes a prelude, the River Rafting Festival (Forsfestivalen). There, participants build their rafts and visitors enjoy food, pub, entertainment, and activities of various kinds.

Hello and welcome to the website of The Engineering and Computer science reception, an event by Uppsala Union of Engineering and science students. The Engineering and Computer science reception welcomes almost 1 000 new students to the university, the student life, and UTN. During the reception, the new students will get an introduction to the student life in Uppsala and the chance to meet other students, both new and older, in an inclusive environment.

You will also get to do team-building activities with your class to make it easier to get to know one another. The new students will receive guidance and assistance from the receptions Buddies. The Buddies are older students that will follow the new students around and be of support for them by, for example, answer any questions they may have and come with them during the activities daytime and nighttime.

Welcome to Utnarm's Virtual Career Fair

Utnarm is Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students' Career Fair, held on Thursday, November 11, 2021!

During an intense day, you get the opportunity to meet with companies and organizations from multiple business areas and industries. It's a great platform for students and industry to meet and discuss future thesis, summer jobs, and employment.

At Utnarm, SciTech's students get the opportunity to find inspiration, motivation, and valuable contacts for the future. The fair is held virtually on November 11 and is preceded by two weeks filled with exciting events to prepare students for what is expected of them when they have graduated.

The fair will be attended by about 80 exhibiting companies and organizations who are there to meet YOU!
